Do any of you use Discogs or spreadsheets to catalog your records? I was using discogs for a while but I haven't kept up with it. My collection isn't really as big as some people may think, right now I have maybe 900 records. But I stopped cataloging because sooner or later I end up getting rid of things I don't listen to, or I upgrade to different versions. After a while I just didn't feel like doing it anymore.

I only did like 300-400 on Discogs and just didn't want to spend the time to put all of them on there. I only have about 1,600 now, I have sold a good amount over the last 10 years.

I have just a small collection at the moment, somewhere around the 100 mark. I'm using Discogs and my own Excel spreadsheet that includes my digital collection.

I used Excel to make a catalogue speadsheet. As my good wife points out, I use it in a way that Excel wasn't made for. It works great. I also have one for my 8-track tapes.

I have gone the long road of using a word document and typing out every little detail. I need to update it, as I have moved some stuff out and gained additional vinyl. It helps me get even more familiar with my ever growing catalog.

I don't have anything cataloged. If I tried doing it now,it'd take forever with over 10,000 albums. Should have started it many years ago.
