I found out about the Soundburger a few years ago and ended up buying one off ebay. They were a small portable turntable made by Audio Technica around 1983, Crosley recently copied the design with their "Revolution" turntable which I think is still available. Having the Soundburger was fun to have and it sounded good, but it was just very impractical. Not having a plinth, even the slightest bump or jostle would cause the stylus to skip, even more so than on other portables. It made a great conversation piece but after a while I sold it. But I still have the memories…. style="max-width:100%;"]

That thing was the coolest. Definitely a fun little conversation piece. I'm sure his new owner loves him just as much!
