Hey gang,

I found this place via avmaniacs. I have an off again, on again relationship with vinyl that stems back to the mid 80s. I went from vinyl to cassettes to vinyl to CDs, back to vinyl, back to CDs again to mp3s until the last year when I discovered that new vinyl usually contains download cards, which I consider the best of both worlds. My current goal in life is to expand my collection of late 70s-early 80s New Wave LPs.

Welcome Isaac - thanks for joining. There's one new wave record I've been looking for called "Growing Up American" by a group called The Colors. I think it's an EP but later it was reissued on an LP called Teenage Furniture.

I've never heard The Colors before just now. My wife would love them because they sound like The Undertones.
