The only times I'm listening to music is at home or in the car. I use an ipod in the car and at home it's always vinyl. I have some old tapes and cds but vinyl is my mainstay. I've noticed that with vinyl making a comeback, some people are getting into other analog formats like cassette tapes and reel-to-reel. I don't normally buy tapes or cds. But sometimes there's no choice. Brownsville Station just released a new album called "Still Smokin'" on cd only - it's not on itunes either. If it was on vinyl I would have had it by now, but because it's a cd I haven't gotten around to it yet. I guess you could say I'm a purist about vinyl.

USB stick in the car, occasionally college radio
iPod and/or Sansa Clip while lying in bed
records in my home office, once in a while Audirvana Plus w/ FLACs on my iMac
WAV/FLAC on my laptop when I'm capturing vinyl so I can clean up anomalies

Since my car was stolen I now listen to cassette tapes in my junker. I still find that cassette tapes sell well. Lots of indie labels are doing the limited number editions on cassette.

I collect mostly earlier pressed CD's when I come across them. I have a Surround DVD/CD unit player I use which sounds great for a basic type.

Yup.listen to CD's in my truck. Back in the 70's I used to listen to cassettes and 8-tracks.
