I'm going to be looking at a new turntable for 78 RPM records, so at least I'll have the option to play 78s. The guy I'm going to see has a Dual 1009 and a Dual 1019, but he only has one base for it, so whichever one works better he is going to put in the base and if it works well and sounds okay I'll probably buy it.
I've only owned one Dual before but it was broken and I couldn't get it working properly.
Does anyone else have opinions on Dual tables?

I got the Dual 1019! It works pretty good except for the tonearm doesn't return all the way, other than that it's great. I love the bubble cover.

Nice 1019! I just got a free 1009 and I'm enjoying it's excellent sounds.
