I see the pics too AJ.
The Death Waltz series is beautiful indeed. Did they do the Deadly Spawn soundtrack? I want to get one of those but now that they're OOP they're expensive.

They just did a Goblin press for the US tour with zombi.
Not sure about if they did a deadly spawn pressing.
I currently have the Donnie Darko, Halloween 2, HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY, and LET THE RIGHT ONE IN.

Two records I picked up at the punk rock flea market yesterday. The Green Hornet was $5 and after I bought it, the guy asked "So tell me - how much is it really worth?" I said "Uh, I have no idea I just thought it looked cool." I didn't play it yet but I'm hoping for someting surfy-sounding. Heh. If that is what I think it is then it probably isn't worth much at all. My father got a similar one for Batman for me in the late 80s that he found used, and from what he told me these types of records were commonly found for cheap in grocery stores back in the 60s. Does the music feature the original artist or a cover act? That's the dead giveaway. Still, just because it isn't worth anything doesn't make it any less fun in a cheesy way.

It's a cover version I believe - the rest of the record isn't my cup of tea but it's okay for background music.

I have seen the batman and superman records sell for around $10.00
I have never seen a green hornet one. I did pick up a cool Alfred hitcock record recently. It had great cover art.

If it's the one with the picture of the kid being scared while he's in bed on the back of it, I used to have that when I was younger.

Christmas came a bit early for me! I found out that a record store near me called Gr8Soundz located in Hellertown PA was giving away a bunch of records for free because they needed space. I spent about two hours digging through hundreds and hundreds of records and found about 4 crates worth of worthwhile stuff. For the most part - as you may have guessed - it was either undesirable stuff in good condition or desirable stuff in poor condition. But I found some interesting things. Here are three that I've listened to so far. They're beat up but play fine. A good cleaning will help them even more. Carl Perkins with NRBQ is damn good!

I found this today for $3 at the (only) local record store. It must've eluded my attention for quite a while because it had been marked down from $6 and then from $4. There's a slight warp on one of the edges but thankfully not enough for it to skip. I love this movie. Double LP!
