I'm well aware of Double Decker in Allentown and Gr8sounds in Hellertown; but Hellertown is a good 40 minute drive each way for me. Compact Disc Center in Bethlehem is OK, but I wasn't impressed with their title selection. I do know about Young Ones and Rat Tail in Kutztown. Are there any other decent record shops or places that sell used records in the lehigh valley? How about areas within 45 min or so... Reading? Bonus if there are other shops nearby that would interest my wife.

Dave,Check out Record Connection in Ephrata [ not far from Reading ]. It's not DD,but has a huge selection of vinyl...new and used. Been in business well over 20 years and is well known to collectors. DD is the best record store on the east coast IMO,and I've been to many.

Record connection is cool. Personally I don't care for Compact Disc Center. I went in there one time with a stack of nice stuff and they were going to give me store credit - and not much of it at that. I found a few records I liked that was even with what I was trading in. The woman behind the counter said she'd have to charge me tax on top of my trade. So I took asked for my stack of records back and left.

I would also say check out Record Connection. That is where I went for RSD 2014. They do 10% off all day for RSD on anything it doesn't have to be an RSD purchase.
